Potential photos for contents page

I have also taken photos of another artist I could use within my magazine on the contents page, and these are the photos I have got. My artist is called Tweetz and the genre of his music will  also fit the genre in my magazine. I decided to shoot the artist in a house with ripped wallpaper as this artist will also be quite edgy, quirky and from a similar background to my main artist. I thought I would use a male artist, as male artists can also appeal to my audience and I didn;t want my magazine to have too much femininity.

 This is the photo I want to use in my contents page, I like the pose of the artist and the whole composition of the photo. However this photo does break some of the music magazine conventions, as there is no direct address and no engagement with the reader, but I may use another photo that does use direct address.

I also really like the pose in this photo.

As my other photo didn't use direct address I may also use this photo in my contents page.

I then edited my chosen photos to how I would possibly like them to look in my magazine. This is one example of possible editing.
